As President, Pat is responsible for all internal and external activities for Contracting Solutions. He is a past Chairman and current Board member at Telhio Credit Union and an Ohio High School Athletic Association football referee. Pat also holds a M.S.A. from Central Michigan University. He is active in the community and within his church.
Listening is the key ingredient to client success in construction services. Pat believes in listening to each client’s needs and outcomes while continuously involving his staff in the assessment resulting in a more rounded project and team approach. This process of information triangulation has been a key to Contracting Solutions client satisfaction and its overall success. Pat understands that a relationship can only foster out of great work. He will work with all levels of your organization to ensure that all your expectations are exceeded and objectives met to foster a continued relationship.
Amy – Office Manager
Amy is responsible for the daily administrative functions at Contracting Solutions. She insures that all invoices and expenses are handled in a quick and professional manner.
In addition to her internal duties she is responsible for vendor relations for Contracting Solutions. Her goal is to make both the internal and external clients satisfied.
Pat Plankenhorn – SVP/Project Manager
Plank came to Contracting Solutions with many years of experience in marketing, sales and advertising. In addition to having owned an advertising agency for 14 years, he has held management positions with a Fortune 500 company, as well as mid-sized and family owned businesses. His primary responsibilities with Contracting Solutions are business development and client support. Plank holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Ashland University. He is First Vice President of the Buckeye Lake Region Chamber of Commerce and in his spare time Plank enjoys boating, fishing and shooting sports.
Robert Polacek – Senior Project Development Manager
Bob is responsible for the daily operations of the maintenance division of Contracting Solutions. This includes logistics, purchasing supervision, manpower and invoicing. He also heads up special projects and initiates the bid process. Bob’s experience comes from many years of retail maintenance and Construction. Bob was the first Bath & Body Works store Facilities Maintenance/Construction Manager. Responsible for timely store repairs and updated store re-models. Bob headed up a new “Call Center Matrix” which decreased repair times on retail stores. Once Limitedbrand’s merged, Bob became a Zone Manager and maintained all Limitedbrands based stores throughout the U.S. He has a vast range of skills working hands on in the field and supervising crews. He is a Navy Veteran and studied Forensic Science at East Tennessee State University.
Adam Hickock – Lead Field Superintendent
Adam has over 20 of years of experience supervising and managing commercial and residential construction projects as a site Superintendent. Expertise includes planning build sites; liaising with architects, engineers, developers, owners, and overseeing subcontractors. He Develops and follows construction schedules, monitoring progress, tracking and recording changes, and timely reporting to Home Office and Owner. Adam is an accomplished journeyman Carpenter by trade. He is a take charge type of guy with little excuses. Adam has been with Contracting Solutions since the start and has completed of 100 projects varying from residential small projects to large commercial ground up builds. Adam is also a Navy Veteran.
Mike Hartless – Construction Manager
Mike has over 20 years experience in the Residential and Commercial construction industry. Mike has worked in all aspects of the field including fire and flood damage for insurance companies. Mike started with Contracting Solutions from the beginning of the company along with Adam Hickok. His duties include running projects, sometimes multiple at once, making sure each project is done up to code, in a professional manner, and within budget. He oversees our employees on projects, trains new employees, and also recruits new hires. Mike works as the liaison for inspections. Communication is a key factor in his work ethics, making sure the customer and our office is completely aware of each phase of our building process.
